Set in a hospital room, the action revolves around Ken Harrison, a sculptor by profession, who was paralysed from the neck down in a car accident and is determined to be allowed to die.

___

Whose Life Is It Anyway? places the individual at the centre of one of the most complex medical and moral issues of our times - do we have the right to choose how we want to live and when we want to die?

___

A powerful and thought-provoking play, with plenty of humour as well.

We would like to remember, in this 30th anniversary production, one of our main-stay founder members, Colin Barney, who died earlier this year. Nobody put more time, energy and ingenuity into the Basildonians' "pot", or made such a difference to the final presentation of our efforts to our audiences. We shall miss him deadfully. If you have enjoyed any Basildonians' production in the past, you can be sure that he made a huge contribution to it.
