Welcome to The Basildonians, the leading amateur drama group in Upper Basildon in Berkshire!  Membership of the Basildonians is free and we have a great time while working hard to produce top-quality theatre in Basildon village.

The group has been existence for 35 years.  Productions include full-length plays, music hall evenings, pantomime, revues and occasional outdoor productions in summer.  We put on between 1 and 4 productions a year.

We are holding an Open Evening entitled 'An Introduction to the Basildonians’ on Monday 27th February for anyone who might be interested to come along and find out more about being involved in the Basildonians, on stage, backstage or both! Please contact us if you're interested in attending.

Our next production will be a Review to celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee and will take place for 4 days starting on Thursday 31st May to Sunday 03 June, directed by Nick Thorowgood.

Our last production was Cause Célèbre by Terence Rattigan, on Wednesday 16th, Friday 18th and Saturday 19th November 2011 at the village hall.

A further date for your diary is Wednesday 16th May when the Watermill Theatre bring their touring production of Love on the Tracks to Basildon Village Hall. The Basildonians will be providing Box Office facilities.

We're always looking for new people to get involved so please contact us if you're interested in being involved, or being a part of the audience.
